The Pussycat Dolls announced that in March/April 2009 they will embark on a world tour in support of their Doll Domination album.^[38][39] In an interview with Capital Radio,^[40] Ne-Yo revealed he will be touring with the group.

A second season of the show kicked off on February 18, 2008. Instead of being titled Search for the Next Doll 2, the new series is titled Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious. Unlike the previous series which tried to find a new member to join the Dolls, the second series is auditioning girls to become part of a new 3 member all-female group, Girlicious. However, on the show's finale, it was revealed that Girlicious would be a quartet.^[42][43]
